The Times started publishing as a daily newspaper in the UK in January 1785 and has endured the test of time to become one of the world’s oldest newspapers.
The Times has been voted the “world’s most respected newspaper” and has maintained enviable credibility.
The Times international edition was born in May 2007 under exclusive license to Dubai-based SAB Media. Having begun life by distributing just 3,000 complimentary copies the edition now boasts over 20,000 purchased copies across the UAE.
This launch signified a major turning point within the publishing landscape. On the morning of its debut The Times was one of the first international daily newspapers to be available across the UAE.
Published daily, The Times and The Sunday Times cater to over 20,000 affluent individuals in the Middle East. Both papers deliver an up-to-the-minute, quality blend of objective reporting and astute comment.
The Times is available to you through subscription where it can be delivered directly to your home or office. If you prefer, you can pick up a copy at any leading retail outlet in the region.
